OUR TRAINING ETHOS

At Countrywide Tax & Trust Corporation Ltd (CTTC Ltd), we place an exceptionally high value on the training we provide to all of our staff. At entry level, you have the guidance and support provided by both our Human Resources department and your Head of Department, to give you the best possible start.

Your Induction training will consist of online learning via our Company Extranet, Countrywise, which is a unique online training and support tool and which has been specifically designed for Countrywide Tax & Trust Corporation Ltd. It is crammed full of resources and is a key reference point for both staff and Advisers alike. 

Here you will have access to:

Slides and Presentations – Videos – Webinars information on all our products & services, departmental info and much more. You will receive on the job training from your departmental colleagues and either your Team Leader or Head of Department. New staff are also required to attend our off-site 2 Day Foundation Training Course.  

Attain professional qualifications with our earn and learn scheme 

CTTC Ltd actively encourage staff to further their career by taking professional and industry relevant qualifications, and with the Countrywide Earn & Learn scheme you can do just that whilst still earning a living. CTTC Ltd will fully fund the cost of the following legal qualifications and are happy to consider supporting staff through other professional qualifications which will benefit the business. 

STEP (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners)

STEP is the leading international association for Practitioners giving advice in the area of Wills, Trusts and Estates. All of our Full Members of STEP have successfully completed the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (England & Wales). All of our Affiliate Members of STEP have successfully completed a Certificate in Trusts and Estates. 

CILEx (The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives)

The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) is the professional association for 20,000 Chartered Legal Executive lawyers, paralegals and other legal practitioners in England and Wales. For more than 50 years, we have been offering unparalleled access to a flexible career in law. We work closely with Government and the Ministry of Justice and are recognised in England and Wales as one of the three core approved regulators of the legal profession alongside barristers and solicitors.

Founded in 1892, the Institute of Legal Executives became a company limited by guarantee in 1963 with the support and co-operation of the Law Society. On 30 January 2012, we became incorporated by Royal Charter and are now known as the 'Chartered Institute of Legal Executives'. In 2013, we celebrated 50 years of legal careers.


Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

At Countrywide we recognise how important it is, for those of you who already have professional qualifications, to maintain your Accredited CPD. We ensure that you are able to fulfil your CPD requirements by allowing you the time to attend any seminars or courses and funding the cost of these.
